The wings were great, but Mackenzie was the true rock star at STH during my Nov 3, 2025 visit. I was initially seated and did not receive any service for about 10 minutes. She came over from the bar and presented herself with the most positive attitude I could have ever asked for. Wings were as good as I expected, and she constantly checked in on me.
Had dinner at this location multiple times while staying in Charlottesville. The menu is very diverse and the service is fast. The portions are a regular size so if you’re hungry get an appetizer. It can get pretty packed but definitely worth it. Everything I had including dessert was always good. The owner of the restaurant only does military discount on the service members food instead of the whole table unlike other locations. I didn't mind since my whole party was in the military but it did make for an awkward conversation with our waiter about who would be getting a discount. If you’re in Charlottesville this place is very good and dependable!
It was my first time at Sedona and it was excellent. I mean the customer service, food and even the bathroom were spotless.
We loved this place. Maybe it was because we were really hungry, maybe because the food was great indeed, but one of the kids ate three (3) kids steaks and asked for more. The food was tasty indeed, everything we ordered tasted great (Burgers, steaks, salad, beer). Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Even though the place was pretty full, the wait time for the food and service was very short. We loved the place and are likely to come back if we happen to be in the area again.
Great food. Steak fritas were perfectly medium rare and well seasoned. Fries were good. It was a little loud on a Thursday night, but conversation among our crowd of six was still reasonably doable. Wife says the shrimp and grits were also good.
Met up with some friends here, loved the ambiance. They had a huge selection of beers. We were pleased with our beers, ciders and delicious food. Our waitress Annie was very attentive and friendly. Nice outside seating. Clean restrooms, easy accessibility and plenty of parking.

Every time I visit Sedona Taphouse, I leave full, happy, and already thinking about my next trip back. The southwestern wings are a must — smoky, flavorful, and perfectly spicy. And if you're hungry, do yourself a favor and get the glazed pork chop with mashed potatoes. It's massive, cooked to perfection, and the glaze adds just the right touch of sweetness. Our waitress was super polite and genuinely friendly, which made the experience even better. The service here is consistently great, and it’s clear the staff actually care. The draft and cocktail menu is extensive — whether you're into local craft brews or creative cocktails, you’ll find something worth sipping. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the food quality never disappoints. I come back whenever I can, and I always leave satisfied.
I’ll be honest, I’m usually a bit skeptical of chain restaurants, but this place quickly proved me wrong. We stopped in on a busy Saturday evening right in Charlottesville and had a great experience from the start. We grabbed seats at the bar and the service was attentive, fast, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. At times the staff did seem a bit scattered, but it never took away from the experience and certainly didn’t reflect poorly on the restaurant. If anything, it felt more like a team moving quickly to keep up with a lively crowd. The appetizers were excellent, the beer selection from all over the country was impressive, and the food itself was phenomenal. This was a fantastic find, and based on this experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to visit another location. A great spot all around and absolutely worth checking out.
First time visitors on our way to event at John Paul Jones Arena. Great food and service. Gabriel did a nice job making us feel welcome. The seafood entrees were fresh and delicious. They had excellent wine choices and the appetizers were eclectic. Dessert and coffee was a nice way to top off the evening. Everything was perfect.
